Creative Rights & Usage

Who owns what, and how it may be shared all photographs are protected under the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act, and the copyright of all images remains with the Photographer. With the Client’s consent, the Photographer may use selected images for portfolio display, website, social media, sample albums, advertising, publications, or other promotional purposes.

Your Photography Team Who will be capturing your moments

The Principal Photographer will be Meera Chalke if specifically committed at the time of booking. A second lead photographer may be assigned at the Photographer’s discretion, at no additional cost. The scope of photography services includes only soft copies unless otherwise agreed upon for albums.

The Event Guide

Helping us capture what matters most to you. The Client is requested to assign an ‘Event Guide’ for the event. The Event Guide will assist in identifying people, moments, objects, and locations that are important to the Client. A list of preferred shots, family groupings, and special details should be shared with the Event Guide in advance. The Photographer will not be held responsible for missed photographs if no assistance is provided in identifying or gathering subjects.

Specific Coverage Requests

Clear communication helps with better planning. Any specific requirements regarding coverage of the food area or guests/families during meal times must be discussed in advance during the event flow planning. Requests not communicated beforehand will not be considered part of the agreement.

Data Delivery Responsibility

How files are handed over. To receive all raw and edited data, the Client is required to provide a hard drive or physical storage device.

Working Hours & Logistics

Understanding time, travel, and comfort Coverage within city limits is included but in case of travel to outstation or additional locations, must be arranged by the Client. A day booking includes up to 10 working hours from the reporting time.
Additional hours will be charged as follows:
Candid Photographer / Cinematographer: ₹2,000 per hour
Traditional Photographer / Videographer: ₹1,000 per hour
In case of a break between two events on the same day, the Client must provide a quiet resting room with a sofa or bed. Only then will the break time not be counted as working hours. Meals and refreshments for the team must be arranged during shoot hours. For outstation events, suitable and comfortable accommodation at or near the venue must be provided.

Travel, Stay & Commitments

The practical side of the journey Travel costs are charged at the most reasonable and available fares at the time of booking and billed at actuals.For outstation assignments, the Photographer usually stays as a guest of the family. A clean room, according to the team size, with a private washroom and basic comfort, is appreciated.Advance payments are non-refundable, as dates are blocked exclusively and other assignments are declined. The balance payment must be cleared before the delivery of edited data. Delays without mutual agreement may attract interest.

Data Safety & Storage Important to know Once the final raw and edited data is delivered, it will be deleted from our servers. Data recovery will not be possible after deletion. Album Design & Printing From preview to final print
