How it all began
I’ve always been someone who feels deeply and notices the little things, which is probably where my love for storytelling began.
My journey with photography started in a very personal way, during my sister’s wedding in 2011. While everything around me was full of celebrations and rituals, I found myself quietly observing the small, unplanned moments: a glance, a smile, a tear. Those moments stayed with me more than anything else.
In 2013, I began assisting a wedding photography firm. It was a phase of learning, unlearning, and truly understanding what goes into capturing a story — not just technically, but emotionally.
Over time, I realised that, for me, photography was never just about pictures. It was about people, feelings, and memories that deserve to be felt again.
That’s when I decided to take a step of my own
In 2017, Picture It by Meera came to life not just as a brand, but as a reflection of everything I believe in: honesty, simplicity, and real emotions.
What started as a personal journey has slowly grown into something much more meaningful, shaped by the beautiful people I’ve met, the stories I’ve been trusted with, and the connections that continue even after the wedding is over.
